Ομάδα για τη διγλωσσία και τον πολυπολιτισμό στην εκπαίδευση και την κοινωνία

During March-June 2017 Group ‘Polydromo’ has undertaken the project ‘CR.E.A.T.E for refugees’ with the support of INTERSOS and the UNHCR. The project places in its core the creation of mixed groups of adult refugees, migrants and native adults who share, on a weekly basis, lessons of Greek, English, German and Arabic, at our premises POLY.ST.EK.I. At the same premises, on a regular basis, all participants have the opportunity to get involved in arts and crafts workshops. Moreover, until the completion of the project on June 25th, 4 outside activities will be carried out, including visits to educational sites, the Centre for Environmental Education (Kilkis), the Park of Aristotle (Stagira, Chalkidiki) and activities in the centre of Thessaloniki and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. All Polydromo members who are involved in the project are volunteers. The closure of the project will be celebrated with an activity on 23/6/17, a cultural event with music from different cultures. Through the undertaken activities, refugees, migrants and native adults will come into contact and share knowledge and experiences, through a process which contributes immensely to the development of cross/intercultural knowledge - a priceless wealth for all involved and the broader society.
